The Equality Federation is a support organization made of over 40 state organizations from throughout the country. This year the annual summer meeting was held in Albuquerque August 8th-12th hosted by Equality New Mexico. This event brought together 40 state groups to work on our collective vision. Equality New Mexico's Executive Director Alexis Blizman, was named Vice Chair of the Equality Federation 501c3 Board. This leadership role will help tremendously as we further our mission in New Mexico. The meeting would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors and volunteers who dedicated so much to us throughout the conference. The staff of EQNM is back in the office, reenergized, and ready to continue our fight for equality. |
