Tyler wants you to know about three things: ACLU meeting, FAMILY Thanksgiving Dinner, and the PFLAG Silver City Schedule through June. The ACLU will be presenting on a proposed "Comprehensive Domestic Partnership Rights and Responsibilities Act" on October 18 at 5:30 in the Student Memorial Bldg. Seminar Room. Word is that it has a very good chance of passing, if we do our part.)
FAMILY Thanksgiving Dinner AGAIN! Church of the Good Shepherd 7th and Texas Streets has graciously offered their fellowship hall and newly remodeled kitchen to LGBT's and their allies and friends and families to have a Thanksgiving meal on Nov 10, 2007 (Saturday) Doors open at 4 pm, Meal at 5 pm, Board games and other tom foolery around 7, probably. PFLAG has graciously offered two turkeys (sexual orientation unknown) the rest of us should bring Last name A-H Drinks, including bottled water, and breads/dressing I-P Seasonal foods (yams, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, ) and vegetables/salads Q-Z Desserts If you have a signature dish that does not fall in your category, bring it instead. Everyone bring game they like, guests they choose, good will, appetite, time to share. __[PFLAG SCHEDULE]__We have lots of exciting things coming up, so mark your calendars and plan on attending!
