2008 SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO PRIDE WINS EMERGING LEADER AWARD
Albuquerque Pride has chosen Southern New Mexico Pride to receive the
Honored Dignitary – Emerging Leader Award for 2008. Southern New Mexico
Pride is one of five dignitaries being honored at Albuquerque Pride, which
will be held on June 14, 2008. Every year, Albuquerque Pride selects a
person or organization who, through years of service, has improved and
continues to improve the lives of GLBT people through social activism.
Southern New Mexico Pride Co-Chairs, Tom Smith and Perry Sanchez will
accept the Honored Dignitary-Emerging Leader Award at the Albuquerque
Pride Festival next week.
